Off-Cycle Investment Intern fall 2026 at Novax

About the internship:
As an intern at Novax, you will have a unique opportunity to work full-time (approximately 16-18 weeks) alongside our investment team, supporting the evaluation of new investment opportunities while also contributing to value creation initiatives across our existing portfolio. You will take on a varied set of responsibilities, including market and company analysis, financial modelling and valuation, preparation of decision-making materials and supporting ongoing portfolio initiatives and projects.
To thrive in this role, you combine strong analytical and communication skills with genuine commercial acumen and a keen interest in investments and business development. You are structured and detail-oriented, work proactively, and take initiative. You also have strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and inspire confidence.
Candidate profile:
Is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (MSc level) or final year of a Bachelor's degree (BSc level) in finance, accounting, or a broader management discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering and Management)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Solid understanding of core valuation concepts
Prior work experience in a relevant analytical role (e.g., investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, strategy, VC/PE, or similar) is considered a plus
You communicate fluently in English; proficiency in Swedish is considered a plus
Practical details:
Start date: August/September 2026, with some flexibility. The internship runs for approximately 16-18 weeks
Scope: Full-time
Location: Onsite at the Novax office (Östermalmsgatan 40, Stockholm)
You must have the legal right to work in Sweden at the start of your employment (e.g., EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit). If you require visa sponsorship, please note that we are not able to sponsor for this role
